Health Education Center

Mission's Health Education Center is a unique outpatient facility that empowers individuals with various health problems to better manage their own care. Specifically, our programs were developed for individuals with:

Specially trained nurses and dietitians, plus a pharmacist and a behaviorist/certified clinical social worker, provide knowledge and support to help you optimize the quality of your life.

Our unique, collaborative care programs involve the education center, the individual, and his or her physician. Individuals availing themselves of the programs at Mission's Health Education Center may be self-referred, referred by their physician or referred by their employer.

The Health Education Center also coordinates programs with employers which have demonstrated excellent health outcomes. These Employer-Sponsored Disease Management Programs are available for people with diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol. The education center forms a collaborative link with the individual, his or her physician, a community pharmacist or other healthcare professional (for ongoing follow-up) and the sponsoring employer (who provides financial support).

Mission's Health Education Center is located in suite 203 of the Biltmore Center, 445 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, North Carolina 28801. Free parking is available in the parking garage behind the center, which may be accessed from either Biltmore Avenue or Victoria Road.   Click here for a map and directions.
